Pawan takes up weaver’s issues at Mangalagiri

Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan back on to the street after a short break, raking up the issues of weavers at the handloom hub Mangalagiri, in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. He is going to address a massive meeting of Padmasalis (weavers) on today evening.

75 handloom weavers will be fasting for one day at the ground in front of the Acharya Nagarjuna University near Mangalagiri, where over 10,000 people from the weaving community are expected to gather to highlight the problems faced by the community.

Jana Sena volunteers are mobilising the people in large number and making massive arrangements for the public meeting which will be addressed by Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, who will then make a call to the agitators to call off their fast in the evening.

After a lull break, this is for the first time Pawan Kalyan is going to be amidst the people, after his tour in the Uddanam area in Srikakulam district where he had highlighted the problems of mysterious kidney diseases.

While he gave a call for a Jallikattu-style rally at Visakhapatnam beach on January 26 demanding for the special category status to Andhra Pradesh, he did not participate and was confined to attacking the Centre through twitter.
