Power Star Pawan Kalyan addressed a press conference today. He spoke about Andhra Pradesh special category status. He criticised the Andhra Pradesh government. Talking about the anguish of the people he said when Telangana and Andhra Pradesh got separated I only thought about the youth as they are most who got affected. It can be either in education or employment field.”

“Keeping all this in mind I never spoke by hurting any political party. But after three years what people expected from Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a democratic country. But from FTII to Rohith Vemula issue till demonetization and the special category, all have been ignored. We wanted benevolent democracy, not the dictatorial democracy."

He added "I tried a lot to understand BJP and all the political leaders but not able to. The parties are only doing what they like and not listening to the people. People have voted for Modi with trust. But how can you blackmail people and rule the country? People will protest but it's your duty to tell them but if you control everything through police, one police cannot control Kashmir.
