One Civilian Injured, Pak Conduct Ceasefire for the Sixth Time

Pakistani troops have been heavy shelling since early morning in Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera, Sundarbani and Pallanwala sectors.

In last 12 hours, this is the sixth time Pakistan conducted ceasefire violation for which Indian forces are countering their attack.

According to the reports, one civilian was injured in Pakistani firing along the International Border in Jammu's Kathua district.

A high alert has been put along the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir including in Keri area, Hira Nagar, Mendhar, and Poonch.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to the chief of Border Security Force on Thursday. He asked them to give a "fitting response".

At six places, Ceasefire violations were reported along the Line of Control and the International Border today, in which one BSF personnel had died.
