Is KTR following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi or competing with him? While Modi is on the spree of foreign visits to promote 'Make in India', the Telangana IT and Industries minister KT Rama Rao is busy promoting 'Make in Telangana' in investor friendly countries.

KTR is spending most of his time on foreign tours. After winding up America visit last week, the minister flew to South East Asian countries.

He held several rounds of meetings with investors in Singapore in last two days. Now he is in Malaysia where he attended Malaysia - India business dinner meet. There he made a presentation on investment prospects in Telangana.
KTR is also planning to tour Arab countries inviting industrialists to set up their units and also take up infrastructure projects.
