After a 10 class student’s dead body was found stuffed in a carton and abandoned near Alpha hotel in Secunderabad, reportedly, the police have picked up three suspects from Vijayawada.

For a ransom of Rs. 10 crores, the boy was kidnapped, but before the family could arrange the money, the boy was killed.   

Around 11 pm, last night, after Gopalpuram police were alerted about a boy's dead body, a team was dispatched to the location and even other police stations in the city were informed about it.

Responding to it, Shahinayathgunj police sent a profile of 15 year old teenager, named Abhay Madhani, who went missing from Begum Bazar at 3 pm. The police confirmed that the dead body was that of Abhay.

Through the investigation, it was found that, Abhay had left his residence at 3pm for tiffin and did not turn up again. Worried over it, at 5 pm, the family members complained to Shahinayathgunj police.

While the family members were in search of Abhay, an anonymous person called up the boy’s father Kumar, and demanded Rs. 10 crores to release his son. The call was recorded.

But Kumar being a plastic company owner expressed his inability of paying Rs. 10 crores and instead offered Rs. 5 lakh in cash and gold worth Rs. 10 lakh.

Denying Kumar’s request, the kidnapper said, “What rubbish are you talking. If you want safe return of your son, arrange at lease Rs 5 crore and send the cash to the Secunderabad railway station and your son will be released by 6 am on Thursday”.

But by 11 pm, the boy’s dead news was in the media. Knowing this, the family members got shattered.

Meanwhile, the officials gathered the CCTV footage, which showed the boy sitting back of a running scooter, driven by an unidentified person. The police even gathered phone numbers and tracked down three people, who were aboard a train, heading towards Vijayawada.

Reportedly, they were taken into custody and was found that they were the former workers in Kumar’s plastic company. The police even has CCTV footage of the kidnappers, who left the carton at the Alpha hotel.   

City police have announced Rs. 1 lakh reward for the information on the suspects and even released the photo, featuring Abhay sitting back of a running vehicle driven by a guy.
