No doubt, TRS would have the huge popularity in the state, being the party, which raised its voice big, for the separate state.
After 2014 general elections, TRS has continued to do its magic in all the elections and rest other parties continuously received the shocks. Now the situation of other parties, especially TDP has worsened more.
Recently, after Telangana speaker declared to take the Telangana TDP MLAs, who joined in TRS, as the associated members of the latter party, the situation of TDP came down and is almost at the closing position in the state.
As of now, the various parties strengths in the Telangana state assembly, is as follows:

Congress- 15
Majlis- 7
BJP- 5
TDP-3

Independents- 1
- Even the nominated MLAs were counted as the TRS MLAs
- While there are 3 MLAs from TDP, R. Krishnaiah is now staying away from the party proceedings in the state.
- Due to the death of Congress leader. Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy, Paleru place is vacant.
- After the elections, TDP is in third position, but the consequences of ‘Operation Aakarsh’ by TRS, brought TDP down to the 4th position.
