Modi more than NDA - Survey

While the oppositions are criticizing the Centre, blaming for the various issues taking place in the country, the citizens are positive towards the NDA government and here is the proof of it.

In an opinion poll conducted by ABP News yesterday, the performance of BJP-led NDA government has been rated ‘above average’, but the notable thing is, the rating of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is higher than that of his government.

46 per cent of the people, who responded to the poll, rated the government as ‘very good’ or ‘good’, and to the surprise, among those 46 per cent, about 54 per cent, rated Modi as ‘very good’ or ‘good’.

If the opinion poll is taken into consideration, if at all Lok Sabha elections were to be held tomorrow, NDA is likely to get 38 per cent vote share, giving it 301 seats as against 339 seats in May 2014 polls.

On the other hand, the poll further said that, Congress-led UPA is likely to get a vote share of 28 per cent, giving it 108 seats as against to 62 seats in the previous elections.

The poll said the BJP is likely to get 43 per cent of the vote share and the Congress 14 per cent with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) bagging four per cent of the votes, bigger than any other regional players.

On the other side of the coin, the survey proved that, 47 per cent of respondents are of the opinion that, Modi’s popularity is decreasing day by day, but 45 per cent of the respondents think otherwise.
