The tradition of jumping into other political parties, is never out of date and the popular film actress and ex-Congress MLA, Jayasudha, proved it again, by joining TDP.

Congress party almost lost its recognition in the Telugu states and would find tough, even in the future days, to gain back its recognition. This is making a few of the leaders, skip the party and join other parties, for the betterment of their political career. The recent candidate in that queue is Jayasudha.

Jayasudha always had positive vibrations towards YS Rajashekar Reddy, ex- Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh. She joined the Congress party in YSR’s reign itself and won as an MLA from Secunderabad.

After YSR’s sudden demise, several speculated that, she would shift to Jagan’s party YSRCP, but no such issues took place.  

However, after the bifurcation of the Telugu states, Congress started getting degraded and TRS emerged as the most powerful party in the Telangana state. Keeping this in mind, several Congress and other party leaders, joined TRS party itself.

In fact, when Jayasudha invited Telangana Chief Minister KCR, for his son’s movie audio function, there are speculations, that she would be joining in TRS itself.

But it seems, KCR had given a jolt to Jayasudha too, as he gave to Danam Nagendar, when he decided to join TRS party, earlier.

On the other hand, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is not in a mood to involve in a conflict with KCR again and so, is reportedly staying away from Telangana politics.

At this point of time, Jayasudha, who has a good following in Secunderabad, joining TDP has raised curiosity. A few opine that, the actress turned politician, would concentrate more on Andhra region and that is the reason for her, to maintain mum, after she was asked about the place, she decided to contest.

It should be seen, how far, TDP would be benefited through Jayasudha, who never contested in Andhra region earlier.
