Contribute to Chennai relief fund through Sewa International

The horrifying rains in Chennai and few other parts of Tamilnadu, worsened the life of the residents over there. The whole country was saddened after watching the situation of Tamilnadu people and have come forward to offer assistance to the flood affected victims.

Reacting to the news, Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately reacted to the incident and sanctioned Rs. 940 crores and further visited Tamilnadu and met Chief Minister Jayalalitha and sanctioned another Rs. 1000 crores.

On the other side, Navy and several other armed forces had participated in various   rescue operations. Reportedly, they have rescued 7000 people. In the beginning, due to the heavy water level in a few areas, the rescuers found it difficult to approach many of the flood affected victims. But upon the reduction of the water level, the rescuers could reach every nook and supported the public to the possible extent.

While several armed forces are performing heavy rescue operations, even other non-governmental organizations like Sewa International, are also doing their best to reach the needy.

Sewa, whose abbreviation is Selfless Efforts for Welfare of All, is carrying on all its activities, with the same motive and living up to its abbreviation.

The best part of Sewa International is, they are even active on the social networking sites. Upon getting the tweets from the affected victims, they are able to give an immediate response and acting accordingly.

For instance, upon receiving the information that a woman is suffering from the labor pains, the volunteers alerted the required doctors and thus supported the woman in having the safe delivery, delivering twins.

To extend their support to the flood victims, Sewa International had started collecting the funds from the public. Regarding this, they could already collect $100000. Assuring that every dollar, will be used for the needy, Sewa aims to collect $500000 dollars, for the better support to the flood affected victims.

So the organization is inviting the public to contribute for the purpose, through the link, www.sewausa.org/donate

Sewa is even availing the public, to make their contribution through the cheque. The below is the way to send the cheque.
