TRS manipulated EVMs in Warangal by-poll - Sarve Satyanarayana

Sarve Satyanarayana, Congress candidate in the recent Warangal by-poll, had ordered for an inquiry, on Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

It is known that in the recently held Warangal by-poll, TRS party candidate Pasunuri Dayakar, had won with a record majority and the rest of the opposition parties, like Congress, YSRCP, TDP-BJP lost the deposits.

In the beginning, the TRS candidates had faced a severe criticism from the public, during the campaigning in Warangal. So it was then, many felt that, the competition for TRS would be tough in the elections.

That is the reason, even YSRCP came forward, targeting TRS, made severe criticisms and asked to vote for YSRCP candidate. But the results were shocking for even the political analysts along with the opposition parties and so doubted that, if there was any involvement of fraudulent activities.

Raising the issue, Sarve Satyanarayana, who lost the deposits in Warangal by-poll, said, TRS leaders manipulated EVMs and that resulted in the victory of the party.

“TRS leaders faced several criticisms during the campaigning and that is known to everyone. So there is no chance for this range of victory, that too ending up the oppositions, lose the deposits,” Sarve said.

He further asked CM KCR to address a letter to the Election Commission within 3 days seeking a probe or else he would wage a legal fight against the government. He also said after the inquiry is done if the EVM's were found manipulated, he has asked KCR to resign his post.

Meanwhile, a few of the analysts opine that, though TRS leaders faced criticism during the campaigns, KCR’s speech in Warangal campaigning, influenced many, as he explained all the possibilities of keeping up the promises. That made public to re-think on TRS and so voted the party.
