Warangal by-poll: TRS won, oppositions lost deposits

As expected, TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar won Warangal by-poll with record majority, and is all set to enter Loksabha.

TRS victory is already speculated just after the first round majority. The speculation turned true, after observing round-wise majority of parties in Warangal by-polls.

Kadiyam Srihari earlier had a 392574 majority in Warangal. But now, Pasunuri overtook it and managed to secure 4,59,092 majority in Warangal by-poll, after the final round of counting.

In that sense, not only Kadiyam, Pasunuri even overtook many biggies records in terms of the majority.

He overtook former Chief Minister Rajashekar Reddy’s majority, who has 4.22 lakh majority, when he contested for Kadapa loksabha seat in 1991, against Telugu Desam Party candidate, C. Ramachandraiah.

Out of the total of 15 lakh voters, about 69 per cent voting was registered in Warangal by-poll.

Voteshare of the Warangal by-poll contestants

Pasunoori Dayakar from TRS party could secure 615407 votes

Sarve Satyanarayana from Congress party attained 1,56,315 votes

Devaiah Pagidipati of BJP-TDP attained 1,38,178 votes

Independent candidate attained 28,364 votes

Nalla Surya Prakash of YSRCP attained 24,021 votes

Currently, police have ordered for Section 144, around the Yenumamula Market yard vote counting centre, suspecting conflicts.

Upon the huge victory, the TRS party leaders are celebrating the occasion with the crackers.

To secure the deposits, a party has to get 173000 votes. But, none of the oppositions could get that number of votes and thus lost the deposits.

With this result, it is again proved that TRS party is irreplaceable and immovable in Telangana state, in the near future.

After KCR had convinced the public in Warangal by-poll campaigning, to keep up all his promises, Warangal public has awarded thus huge victory to the TRS.

Hope, KCR lives up to the expectations and thus repeat the same victory in the upcoming GHMC elections too.
