What was raped woman doing that night in the park – G Parameshwara

Meanwhile, G Parameshwara, Karnataka’s new home minister, asked to investigate that what was the woman doing near Cubbon park at 9.30 pm?

This led to controversy now and Manjula Manasa, chairperson of the Karnataka State Commission for Women, said, “I don't exactly know what (Parameshwara) said. But if he or anybody meant it as an objection, then it should be condemned. Society must also teach men some rules before making statements directed at women.”

Responding on the buzz of controversial comments, the home minister said, “All I said was that the incident happened at 9.30 pm according to the information provided to me by our department. I have not said anything to question why the victim was out at that time. How can I say that without knowing full details of the case?”

However the police are investigating the case and assuring to find out the actual facts very soon.
