I will not attend Amaravathi stone ceremony- Jagan

YSRCP Chief and opposition leader Jagan says that, he will not attend the foundation stone ceremony.

When Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was asked whether he would call oppositions for Amaravathi capital foundation stone ceremony, he said that, both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister KCR, will be invited for the occasion, as it is a historical one.

Reacting to the issue, Jagan, who is waiting for a chance like this, immediately said that he is not going to attend the foundation stone ceremony under any circumstances.

It is not stone ceremony, but real estate business- Jagan

Explaining the reasons, Jagan said that, he is not against the capital formation, but he do not like the government spending Rs. 400 crores of public money for the occasion. Moreover, it is not for capital formation, AP government is trying to do real estate business, by selling thousands of acres of lands to the foreign companies.

Not stopping there, Jagan even said, “Though there is National Green Tribunal, the AP government is not concerned about it and collected thousands of acres of lands from the innocent farmers and also the government is negligent about the assigned land holders. So protesting against all the issues, I would stay away from attending the capital stone foundation ceremony.”

This is not new for those who regularly follows the Telugu states politics. What else would an opposition leader say more than this, when the government invites for a function. One thing is for sure, Jagan is trying to create some big thing, on the Amaravathi stone ceremony day.

If at all he plans to protest on the ceremony day and disturb all the programmes planned, then it would be a severe red mark on the part of YSRCP party and AP politics, as many officials global-wide, are visiting the state on that day. So it would be foolish, if Jagan tries to disturb the occasion.

On the other side,  Telangana IT minister KTR already said that, Telangana government officials are ready to attend the Amaravathi capital stone ceremony, if the AP government invites them.
