Threatening letter to target Telugu states CMs

threatening letter was received by Vishakhapatnam airport authorities, which said that, they are targeting CMs (Chief Ministers) of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana besides blowing up vital installations, including Visakhapatnam Airport, thus hinting them to increase the security set ups in both the Telugu states.

Amit Garg, Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner has confirmed that the airport authorities had received the threatening letter a few days ago.

The letter was written in Telugu and purportedly originating from the Nirmal town of Adilabad district of Telangana, was sent via post to Visakhapatnam Airport Director. It mainly concentrated on "targeting" of the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states.

Along with the Chief Ministers, the letter even threatened to blow up the other vital installations in the states like Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), also known as Sriharikota Range (SHAR) in Nellore district and ports in Andhra Pradesh, a senior police official said.

After the letter was received, the security police officer said that, they increased the security measures around the airport and also other viral installations in the states. We are currently conducting the inquiry on the letter and are confident of gaining the results soon, the police official said.

Many suspicions on the threatening letter

As the letter was reportedly received from the local places, it can be estimated that some opposition leaders might have created the letter controversy. But the thing is, as the letter was received by both the CMs, who maintain a tough rivalry, the case is giving many question marks.

Because, there are rare instances, where any opposition party opposed both Naidu and KCR governments. So it must be done by some outers or might just be some prank being played by unknown people.

If at all, the people who wrote the letter intended to target CMs, why do they inform beforehand and alert the security, which in turn becomes tough for them to target the officials. So the officials are estimating that it might become prank.

However, the security measures are increased and the officials are more concerned about Amaravathi stone ceremony, where all the officials assemble at one place. So security measures are further tough on that day.
