Lokesh as TD general secretary, coincidence or scheme?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will appoint his son Nara Lokesh as the one of the three TD general-secretaries of the newly constituted central committee. The announcement regarding this will be made by Naidu today.

For the past few days, many young legislators and party leaders are referring Lokesh name as the general secretary and are requesting Naidu to make Lokesh as the general secretary. So obeying their request, Naidu has decided to appoint his son Lokesh as the general secretary.

Today, Naidu will make the official announcement regarding this, in Vijaywada. Along with Lokesh, the other two general secretaries are Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana Rao (BC) and the experienced leader Revuri Prakash Reddy. Chandrababu Naidu will anyway be the president of the party’s central committee.

As per the close sources, it was found out that, Naidu has decided to give importance to BC and Kapus community in Andhra Pradesh party committees and to the Reddy community in Telangana state.

Following the same, Revanth Reddy, the cash for vote accused MLA, would be made as the working president of the party in Telangana state, but there is no such post in AP committee. Former MP L. Ramana will continue as the party president for Telangana committee and former home minister and BC (Kapu) leader, Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao would be the president of AP committee.

On the other hand, Bonda Uma, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, E. Peddireddy and Payyavula Kesav will be the spokespersons of the central committee. Along with this, a 16-member party Politburo would also be announced more or less with the existing members, which includes Erraballi Dayakara Rao, the legislature party leader in Telangana Assembly.

Not a coincidence, it is a scheme for Lokesh

Coming back to Lokesh issue, while the official results say that, due to the pressure of the young legislators, Naidu appointed Lokesh as the general secretary, but a few opine that, it is to be noted that, during NTR regime, Naidu is the general secretary and later he turned out to be the Chief Minister.

To follow the sentiment and make Lokesh sit in the top chair after him, Naidu conducted some inside talks and made the young legislators to ask for the general secretary post to his son Lokesh.

Be it a scheme or coincidence, what the people expect from any leader is, doing welfare to the society and plan the programmes accordingly, so that no injustice takes place to the common public. If that is possible by Lokesh, he sitting on the top chair would also be possible.
