Dinesh Patel, Hardik Patel’s aide filed a petition, seeking the court's intervention to direct authorities to produce Hardik Patel. The court then directed the Gujarat state government to find Hardik. There are suspicions stating that, Hardik Patel missing case involved many biggies.
      
Earlier, the police said that, “While we went to detain Hardik Patel, after he conducted a public meeting, without the permission of the police, he gave the police a slip. Now the petition was filed by his aide and the court heard it at 1.20am, last midnight.
     
Along with Gujarat state government, the court even issued the notice to the Director General of Police, Range Inspector General and Arvali District Superintendent of Police, to find Hardik by Thursday.  

Mitesh Amin, the public prosecutor said that, Hardik is not in police custody. However, the high court asked the state government to find Hardik, saying "he is a citizen of the country".

The court hearing was conducted at the residence of one of the two judges, MR Shah and K J Thaker, and it was concluded at 2.40 AM.

Hardik might be under police custody - Petitioner doubted

The man who filed the petition said that, he was with Hardik, when the police tried to detain him. He even doubted, saying that Hardik might be in the police custody itself.

B M Mangukiya, the advocate, who earlier appeared for Hardik had moved the plea before the registrar general, after obtaining the permission from acting chief justice Jayant Patel, for conducting the special hearing in the early morning, today.

Author’s view

Hardik Patel brought a revolution among the Patel community, by demanding the government to include the Patel community in the OBC category. Now, after his whereabouts are missing, the case is taking a new turn and awakening various suspicions on police, government and so. Till Hardik Patel comes into public, the buzz on his whereabouts will continue to go more viral, minute to minute.
