Master plan: MP Kavitha urges Naidu to join hands

Nizamabad MP Kavita criticized the central government for not able to grant the special packages to Telangana state.

On Sunday, speaking to the media, Kavitha said, “I appealed to the Centre not to discriminate against the new state in providing financial help. We are very much keen to co-operate the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in the country. Telangana people suffered a lot during the Telangana movement, so the centre should keep this in mind, and come forward to support the state.”

Not stopping there, she even said, “Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu should stop acting against Telangana state. Due to the failure of the previous governments, both the Telugu states are suffering due to the lack of water. So it is not right to corner TRS government projects in this issue. Instead, join hands with the Telangana government in pressurizing the centre, for the benefit of both the Telugu states.”

Naidu, fight tight against the centre for AP special status - Kavitha

Kavitha even spoke about the AP special status issue. “Naidu’s silence on the issue has become a curse to the state. She urged Naidu not face the insults and start fighting against the centre. “The TS government is ready to resolve any dispute with AP provided Mr Naidus stop interfering in Telangana affairs,” she said.

What is the reason for Kavitha to show concern on AP?

It is to be remembered that, many times in the past, Naidu said that he is ready to join hands with Telangana government and thus collectively develop both the Telugu states. But in those days, no one from the government responded to Naidu. Now, Kavitha is backing Naidu to collectively fight against the centre.

Instead of special status, special package is already announced to the AP government. The same special package is now demanded by the Telangana state. But as the state is a new one, centre is not willing to come forward. So at this time, the Telangana government might felt joining hands with AP government is the only option to get the funds and that might be the reason for Kavitha to urge Naidu to join the hands.
