Telangana Chief Minister KCR is now demanding special package to Telangana state too, after the centre promised to give it to Andhra Pradesh.

It is known that, for the quite some time, along with Andhra Pradesh government officials, other opposition parties are also fighting for the special status to AP. Regarding this, YSRCP Jagan and many other parties are conducting Deeksha against the centre.
 
But recently, after several discussions about the possibility of declaring the special status, the centre promised to give more benefits, than it would come under special status. Naidu found satisfied with the special package announced by the centre.
    
Now, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is back of the centre, to announce the same special package to Telangana too. Speaking about this, KCR said that, “the state government has written several letters to PM regarding the special package and also met Prime Minsiter Modi and Minster of Finance Arun Jaitely regarding the special package issue, but there is no such response heard from them.”

Implement AP Reorganization Act provisions - KCR  

Adding further, KCR said, “Along with the special package, I will also ask the centre, to implement the provisions, mentioned in the AP Reorganization Act. Adding to this, the government will also ask the PM for a raise in the limit of the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) from 3% to 3.5%.

As of now, the Telangana government can take the loans upto Rs. 14,000 crore. But if the present demands of the Telangana government are accepted by the centre, then eth benefits will obviously be more, which would further be useful on spending on the various welfare schemes of the Telangana government.
