Centre compromised, no ban on porn

Immediately after porn ban news was out, several criticisms surrounded the centre, which finally made it to withdraw its decision.

It was known that, the porn was banned in India after Kamlesh Vaswani, a lawyer complained about it filing a petition. Though the court did not approve it in the beginning, after several observations, it made a sudden statement banning the porn, which put the entire country in shock.

Though a few supported the centre’s statement, many opposed it questioning that, how can centre obstruct the rights of citizens. On the other hand, they even said that, this ban might further encourage the sexual harrasements on women.

Especially director Ram Gopal Varma comments on porn ban, went more viral. He made utmost satirical comments on the government and also expressed his confidence saying that, BJP might not come into power again in 2019 elections.

Citizens tagged PM and criticized about porn ban

There are even several criticisms raised by the citizens of the country, through the social media. A few of them even tagged to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed their criticisms on porn ban issue.

These criticisms finally made the central government withdraw its decision on porn and ordered to continue the 857 blocked porn sites.

Andhrawishesh view

Watching porn is an individual right. There would be no right for any government for banning it, as it would literally mean obstructing the individuals rights. Instead, it should think upon on how should sexual harrasements on women, can be controlled in the country.
