Special status rejected for Bihar, not AP - Nirmala Seetharaman

Central Minister Nirmala Seetharaman made sensational comments on AP special status issue, saying that, the special status is rejected for Bihar, but not for AP.

It is known that recently, the Union Minister of Planning and Defense, Indrajit Singh declared that, no special status would be given to any Indian state.  

After that declaration, the issue went viral across the country, especially in Andhra Pradesh. Regarding the special status issue, several AP MPs opined that, they are ready to protest against central government, until the special status to AP is declared.

JC Diwakar Reddy comments on special status went more viral, as he clearly declared that, special status to AP, is a dream, that can never be achieved and also hinted that even AP CM Naidu is aware of it.   

Nirmala raises new hopes on special status to AP

Speaking on the special status issue, Nirmala said, “Indrajit Singh comments on special status are applicable to Bihar, but not AP. The centre makes all the favour to AP soon.”

In fact, on a tour to Vijayawada in the past, Nirmala already gave a positive hope to AP special status

AP Special status: Nirmala is trying to mislead AP people?

In spite of the centre’s clear rejection of AP special status issue publicly, how come there be a separate treatment to AP? If so, will the other states like Bihar, be calm about it? Knowing that, the centre faces severe consequences from other states, if AP is declared special status, how can it move positive only to AP state? So, is Nirmala trying to mislead the public? If so she misleads, will it continue till 2019 elections and then declare special status after re-winning in the elections? Time should answer all these questions. Let us see, what the centre is planning for AP.
