After the TDP government came into power, the caste domination is felt at every stage. Nagarjuna University got a prominence, when the Telugu states are bifurcated into two, and the new capital is announced at its place. So it seems, the leading TDP party is inculcating the caste feeling among the students and assuring them to do any kind of nonsense, with their support. In turn, TDP is expecting to increase its power by using the students in various political campaigns. This made the Nagarjuna University students harass the other caste students and in fact led to Rishiteshwari suicide.
