AP municipal workers' salaries hiked, strike called off

Andhra Pradesh municipal workers who are on strike, are announced a salary hike of Rs.2700 each.

For the past 16 days, Andhra Pradesh municipal workers are on strike, demanding the salary hike. Due to this, the services of the officials are completely paused and led to several issues in the government.

But finally, today the Andhra Pradesh government came forward to declare the salary hike to municipal workers. As declared, each municipal worker will be given Rs.2700 hike in salary. Along with this, all the 16 days, where the workers are involved in strike are declared as the holidays, as per the demand of the municipal workers. 

Atchennaidu and Narayana announced AP municipal workers salaries hike

AP officials Atchennaidu and Narayana announced it in front of the workers and asked them to call off the strike. The municipal workers expressed their happiness and thanked the officials for accepting all of their demands and called off the strike. So from now, the workers will carry on with their duties as usual.

After RTC salary hike, in spite of severe financial crisis the AP state is facing, the state government still managed to hike the salaries of municipal workers, keeping in mind, the welfare of the workers.
