Being the last day, many pilgrims rushed to Pushkaraalu today, for taking the holy dip in the Godavari River.

All the Pushkaraalu ghats in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are fully crowded with the pilgrims. The lakhs of pilgrims are observed on all the Pushkraalu ghats in the dual Telugu states. Especially the Pushkaraalu ghats in Rajahmundry, Narsapuram, Kovvuru are crowded with lakhs and lakhs of pilgrims from the early morning itself. Kedar ghat in West Godavari district, Penugonda Mandal, Siddhantha is filled completely with the pilgrims right from 3 am today.  

Closing ceremony of Godavari Pushkaraalu

Due to Godavari Pushkaraalu, Bhadradri temple in Bhadrachalam is crowded with the pilgrims. In the evening, the closing ceremony of Godavari Pushkaraalu will be held in Rajahmundry Arts College. Kuchipudi dance with 1000 dancers, special musical show with Mangalampalli Bala Murali Krishna will be the part of the celebrations.  

Telugu states are successful in conducting Pushkaraalu   

Though the first day of Pushkaraalu was tragic leading to number of deaths, as the AP government took all the proper measures later, no such tragic incidents are held again. During these 12 days, the dual Telugu state governments held the prestigious occasion grandly.

Maha Pushkaraalu is once in a lifetime opportunity, so rush today

Crores of devotees across the country visited the dual Telugu states and took the holy dip. Unlike regular Godavari Pushkaraalu, this Pushkraalu is called as Maha Pushkaraalu, as it arrives once in 144 years, which  is a once in a lifetime occasion for a person.

What is the alternative, if you cannot go to Pushkaraalu?
