Chiru busted out on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Naidu and Prime Minister Modi alleging that their government  failed in every aspect. .

As a part of 'Rythu Bharosa Yatra', Rahul Gandhi, along with Chiranjeevi, visited Ananthapur in AP state. Speaking on the occasion, Chiru said that, Naidu is responsible for the stampede at Godavari Pushkaraalu in Rajahmundry.

“In one year of Modi's reign, the country's agriculture sector has been devastated, which led to numerous farmers suicides in the state”Chiru further added. He further reminded that, Sonia Gandhi visited and consoled Ananthapur farmers in 2004 and it is UPA government, which revived the agriculture sector in the state. Again after 10 years, her own son Rahul Gandhi made it possible to visit Ananthapur farmers, assuring that the Congress party will always support the farmers of the state.

Chiru further said that, Naidu failed in keeping his loan waiver promise. Though the party is claiming that it waived off the loans, there are just Rs 110 of Rs 4,000 loan of a local farmer was waived. Congress party is strictly committed to fight for the special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Reacting on the issue, Rahul said that, UPA government will wipe off the farmers tears and lashed out at Modi for his efforts in passing the unjust land bill in the Parliament. He further blamed YSRCP and TDP for their silence on the special status issue and also the polavaram project completion issue.
