Pushkaraalu: Misleading boards led to death

It is the misleading “Way to Pushkaraalu” boards that actually lead to the death of 27 pilgrims during the Pushkaraalu, say the political analytics.

The deaths at AP Pushkaraalu completely cornered Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and it is known that, he even announced 10 lakhs exgratia to died people. But a few of the political analysts opine that, Naidu alone is not responsible for the deaths. There are misleading boards in throughout Rajahmundry, which read, “Way to Pushkar Ghat”.

The boards directed the people to the small local ponds, where only limited members can take the dip. But as most of the pilgrims are new to Rajamundry and are unaware of the actual Pushkar ghats, they are forced to follow the boards and crowded at those small ponds in large numbers and thus that caused the death of the pilgrims in Maha Pushkaraalu.

However, there are not many boards by the government that directed to the official 16 pushkar ghats, which was actually the biggest mistake by the government and this misled the common public to other local ponds.

Planned well for security at Godavari Pushkaraalu ghats, but failed in implementation

200 CC cameras should be monitored through the control room by DSP and inform about the conditions at the pushkar ghats from time to time to the police. This is actually the plan prepared by the officials, but failed in implementing it. The intelligence officials are already inquiring about the police, who neglected the crowd at the ghats, where the CM took the holy dip.

Along with this, there is not even any ambulance nearby the Pushkar ghats of Maha Pushkaraalu. If the dead people are treated immediately before they fell ill, they would have been survived.
