Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is arrested by the police, reportedly for his involvement in the cash for vote scam.

It is known that, ACB issued the notice to Veeraiah to attend the interrogation on the cash for vote scandal. During the interrogation, ACB officials found Veeraiah to be guilty in the case and arrested him.

According to the reports, Veeraiah had appeared before the anti-graft agency at around 10.30 am and was questioned for seven hours on several issues related to the scam.

Earlier in the day, Veeraiah said that, he is ready to cooperate with the ACB officials completely. Though the ACB had served him a notice in the past, complaining some health problem, Veeraiah wrote to ACB and sought 10 days' time.

The arrest of Veeraiah is literally a shock to the TDP officials and also the common people. When, Veeraiah expressed his confidence to be out of the interrogation, the political critics opined that, the TDP officials might have designed a master plan for his interrogation and then sent him. But to the shock, he was found guilty during the interrogation and thus was arrested, the questions asked by the officials and the exact reason for his arrest is yet to be known.
