Revanth Reddy’s Judicial remand extended to June 29

The judicial remand of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and two others has been extended by the local court.

On Monday, Revanth Reddy, along with Bishop Harry Sebastian and R Uday Simha, who are arrested by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau in the cash-for-vote case, were produced before the special court for ACB cases from the Cherlapally Central Prison.

The court extended Revanth remand under ACB till June 29, as the probe agency filed a memo before the court, saying investigation is still pending in the case and so requested for remand extension.

Forensic reports soon

On the other hand, the reports that were sent to forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), regarding the audio and video tapes of the case are still awaiting. Once those arrive, then the ACB investigation would take a new turn, which might even question the existence of the AP government.

Along with the cash for vote scam video footage of Revanth Reddy, even the phone conversation of Chandrababu Naidu and Elvis Stephenson, a nominated MLA from the Anglo-Indian community, are also sent to the forensic lab to ascertain their authenticity. According to the reports, all those reports would be out within 3-4 days.

If this is the case, the bail plea of Revanth reddy and two other accused was rejected by a special ACB court, when the accused applied for the bail in Hyderabad High Court.

Andhrawishesh view

We are fair, until we are not caught. If Revanth Reddy is caught today, tomorrow would be somebody else. Only the days and the leaders change, but their attitude never.
