Governor meets PM with ‘cash for vote’ evidence

On Thursday evening, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and submitted the details relating to the case, cash for vote scam of TDP leader Revanth Reddy, who was caught red handed.

According to the reports, Mr Narasimhan gave the complete available information with him, to the Prime Minister, including the video tape supplied to him by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

“KCR met me a few days ago and had sought permission to proceed against AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the case, as he felt that, he is the key person behind the cash for vote scam”, Governor told PM.

However, he had not accorded permission and was waiting for the Anti-Corruption Bureau’s submission in court on the issue. It was known that AP CM had sought his replacement as Governor for favoring the Telangana government during the last year.  In reply, the Governor said that, he had only acted as per Constitutional provisions and nothing else.

On the other side, Naidu, who already met Modi, is expecting a positive action towards TDP party. But as the governor produced all the evidence relating to the cash for vote scam, the decision of the center is expected to redefine the dual Telugu states politics now.
