Telangana Chief Minister KCR assured, the government job notification next month. Celebrating the occasion of one year of formation of Telangana state, KCR announced the recruitment drive.
It is known that, the OU students are protesting on the government regarding the job notifications and also announced that, they would disturb the formation day celebrations. Since one year, the students who are eagerly waiting for the notifications, has finally received a good news from CM.
On Tuesday, at the parade grounds of Secunderabad, KCR said that the government jobs notification for 25000 posts would be announced in July. He even assured the process of regularization of contract employees jobs would begin in July itself and completed by the end of the year.
50000 houses by next year- KCR
Coming to the irrigation schemes, KCR assured the works of the Palamur Lift irrigation scheme, which is estimated to cost Rs 35,000 crore would start soon. “In the same way, the Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation scheme which is estimated to cost Rs 30,000 crore will be completed on priority basis.”, CM assured.
Raising about his promise of two bedroom housing scheme, KCR assured to construct 50,000 houses (each unit to cost Rs 5.04 lakh) with a budget of Rs 2,500 crore in the next one year
Reservations to Muslims and STs
KCR reminded that, the Telangana government announced 12 per cent reservations for Muslims and Scheduled Tribes and is always committed to it. The government would start initiating the reservations, once the reports relating to the reservations are submitted by the committees which are allocated for.
Telangana to be energy surplus state- KCR
“Many of the intellectuals said that, the Telangana would face an energy crisis after the bifurcation. But the thing is, the government is making all the arrangements to generate 21000 MW by spending Rs. 91000 crores. Within in next three years, i.e, by 2018, Telangana would be able to provide power supply to all the consumers, including industries. Beyond this, it can reach the position of selling the excess power to other states too,” KCR opined.
Besides this, he mentioned about the various schemes the government proposed in the last one year like Shaadi Mubarak, Kalyana Lakshmi, Aasara pensions, salary hike to government and RTC employees. And also about the prestigious schemes like Mission Kakatiya and Haritha Haaram.
Intention of KCR behind reminding the schemes
The intention behind reminding the schemes and other benefits introduced by the Telangana government is, to make people aware that, they are in the safe hands by choosing TRS government. The major disappointment was, the job notifications which are supposed to be expected from very long and in fact, that was the reason for the students, to participate in the Telangana movement. But, anyway, KCR could manage to make even the students happy by mentioning about the recruitment drive.
