There is no fall in the heat wave in both the Telugu states. The death toll continues to rise further in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

According to the reports, the death toll showed 45 more deaths in both the Telugu states. Among them, 25 people are from Andhra Pradesh and 20 are from Telangana. Now the toll arose to 2200 deaths.

Heatwave for another 3 days - Meteorological department

During the last two weeks, the officials had confirmed the total deaths to be 2177, wherein, AP accounted for 1,636 deaths, 541 from Telangana by Saturday night. All these deaths are caused from the past two weeks itself. According to the reports of the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, the heat may continue for two to three days in both the states.

It was known that the officials said that, the temperatures would fall down by May 31st as the monsoon might hit the Telugu states. But, the estimation went wrong as the monsoon seems delayed for a few more days.   

47 degrees in Hanamkonda

Not only Hyderabad, all the 10 districts of Telangana and four districts of south coastal Andhra Pradesh  recorded a very high temperatures. Especially, the Hanamkonda in Telangana recorded the maximum temperature of 47 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Nalgonda, Ramagundam and Khammam followed it with 45 degrees, and it is 41 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad.

No hope on rains too!
   
From the last two days, due to the rains, it was estimated that, there would be a fall in the temperatures, but surprisingly, there is no such fall and the temperatures continued to be above 40 degrees across Telangana. If the meteorological department’s estimation turns true, the monsoon might be felt in Telugu states within three or four days.
 
Till then, proper precautions as said earlier, are advised to be taken by the residents of both the Telugu states.
