Janatha Pariwar, just a group of ego driven jokers

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD President Lalu Prasad will not share the dais triggering speculation of a logjam in the coming together of JD (U) and RJD. This is happening while both of them are talking about the merger and unity of all the Janatha Pariwar parties to come together to fight against the BJP in the forthcoming Bihar elections.

"I will not be able to make it to the program due to laser surgery of my eye. I had informed organisers about it beforehand," Nitish Kumar told.

"Nitish jee will not be able to make it to the program because of his recent eye operation and political meaning should not be read into it," Bihar Animal Husbandry department minister Baidyanath Sahni told. He added that JD (U) President Sharad Yadav, state party chief Basistha Narayan Singh and other ministers and leaders of the two parties would be present on the occasion along with RJD chief Lalu Prasad. Sahni, who is playing an important role in organisation of the Nishad maharally said that no politics should be read into it.

This will be the second occasion in which Kumar would not be present with "Bade bhai" (elder brother) Lalu Prasad at a public platform. This has triggered a speculation whether everything is fine between the two amid the suspense over the fate of a merger or alliance between JD (U) and RJD ahead of the crucial Bihar poll.

The Janatha Pariwar has created enough of noise when they decided to merge as one party and fight the Bihar election unitedly. But as usual the egos of the leaders has prevented to make the merger a reality. The Janatha Pariwar is a group of people with their own ego in forming their own party by splitting out from the parent party. Now nobody knows which is the parent party. The party has more leaders than supporters. Each leader has their own fiefdom to maintain and hence do not like the other to prosper. Every time these parties try to merge, it will result in one more offshoot from it. So the party is said to be growing and splitting and splitting while growing.
