OU protest still on

On Wednesday, the protest of the Osmania University students against the proposal of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to construct houses for the poor people in OU campus still continued.

It is known that, from few days, the OU students are protesting against KCR. The protest was not  stopped on Wednesday too, as the students seem to be very particular about the campus and are not in a position to lose it.

Signature campaign successful:

At the administration building of the university, the activists of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held a campaign against the proposal. The campaign is all about collecting the signatures from the staff and they were found successful in achieving it as all the staff signed the memorandum. The students even went to meet the vice chancellor of the university, but as he is not available, the idea was dropped.

On the other side, the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) activists activists burned an effigy of the Chief Minister after taking out a mock funeral at the arts college building.

OUUSJAC public meeting on Monday

Meanwhile, the Osmania University Unemployed Students Joint Action Committee (OUUSJAC) announced that it will hold a protest meeting on the campus on Monday. J Kalyan, chairman of OUUSJAC said that around one lakh students from across the State will participate in the meeting.
