It seems to be like  Swachh Bharat, is now sub divied into states and cities. Telangana state government announced Rs 1000 crore for 'Swachh Hyderabad' programme.

This will be launched on May 16 which aimed at transforming the Hyderabad into a clean city.

On Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced his decision on this. He said that there would be an awareness drive on the programme which will be conducted on May 6 involving film actors, sports persons and other celebrities along with cultural troupes.

Procedure of the programme :

Firstly, the city will be divided into 400 segments and each with a 1.5 km radius will be headed by an official who will be held responsible for the cleanliness of the area he was allotted for.

Chief minister, the governor, the state chief secretary, ministers and elected representatives will be acting as the heads and in each segment, there will be a committee with 15 local citizens of that concerned area. He is supposed to work with the under the guidance of official clubbing more people in the programme.  

Along with GHMC support :

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will support the programme with their men and material. CM said that if there are any Civic works, GHMC will be provided with all the required funds by the government itself. 

Chief Minister will meet all the representatives of TV channels and seek for proper suggestions from them on May 6th. 

On the other side, this programme is being attended by the governor ESL Narasimhan, Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya and Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi. The entire police force  will take part in this programme.
