Rahul Gandhi landed in New Delhi

Just days after ‘Rahul Gandhi Missing’ posters did the rounds in Amethi, the Nehru-Gandhi Scion finally landed in New Delhi in a Thai Airways flight amid speculations.  Rahul has been on Sabbatical since Feb 22, just a day before the crucial budget session started and this put Congress under fire.

Though sources say he has been in south-east Asia, no official statement has been released on his ‘mysterious vacation’ so far. Congress president Sonia Gandhi is at Rahul's home.

The party has confirmed that Rahul will be leading a Kisan rally against the Land Acquisition Bill on April 19. Seeking to put pressure on the Modi dispensation, Congress is planning a massive mobilization of farmers across the country.

The rally assumes significance as it is being held on the eve of the opening of the second phase of the Budget session of Parliament and at a time when the government has repromulgated the Land Acquisition Ordinance.
