It is People's victory

Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal first reactions on the getting the upper hand in the Delhi elections were simple. “I had no nervous moments, we knew people were with us. I promise to end corruption and VIP culture. I am an ordinary man, promise to be janta's chief minister,” said Kejriwal to NDTV.  “My first priority as the Chief Minister of Delhi is to end bribery and and the VIP culture,” added Kejriwal further.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon Kejriwal and congratulated him on the victory note. As the counting continues, BJP has reduced to single digit while the Congress party is wiped out from Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party is set to sweep the polls with an unexpected result. Just like Congress in 2013, this time it is BJP which did worst in Delhi elections.

BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi said, “The defeat is mine, it is not referendum on PM Modi.” This is first major setback for the BJP and PM Modi who got a clear majority in the 2014 Elections.
