Discrimination at McDonald's outlet

In a disgraceful incident, a street kid was reportedly thrown out of the McDonald's restaurant in Pune who came to buy a soft drink. The shameful incident came into the limelight after a lady posted the details of the whole episode in the social networking site, Facebook.

The lady along with her friends checked in McDonald's and notice this kid. The woman took the kid inside along with her and made him stand in the queue. The McDonald's staff stepped in and pushed the kid away. Not stopping here, one of the staff reportedly said, “Such kind of people are not allowed inside.” The lady bought the kid Fanta later.

This incident gained a huge outrage and even knocked the chief minister of Maharashtra's door. Reacting to this episode, McDonald's India issued a statement that they are internally probing the incident. “We wish to affirm that we treasure and respect everyone in equal measure and do not support any form of discrimination,” McDonald's India has said.

The staff could have acted smartly instead of throwing the kid outside and now the outlet and entire food chain is hit with bad reputation. It is high time such kind a stupid acts should be stopped and not tolerated at any cost.
