Former police officer Kiran Bedi has joined in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections on February 7, 2015. Kiran Bedi had met Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi before joining in the BJP and later she also thanked him for his ‘inspirational leadership’. Bedi said she wants to sacrifice her entire life to social work for the people, but Modi has inspired her to join in the political life.

Kiran Bedi was the country’s first woman IPS officer, as she was a great teacher, a policewoman and a social worker to illustrate her contribution to the nation. After joining in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kiran Bedi insists that she is set ready to contest against former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, if her party wants.

Kiran Bedi also promises that she aims to make Delhi world best capital city and she is happy to join with Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She has thanked BJP senior leaders for giving an opportunity to work with the party.
