EAMCET War Re-starts!

Andhra Pradesh state council for Higher Education has announced the EAMCET and other Professional courses entrance examination dates yesterday. But the Telangana state council has rejected these dates and chairman Papi Reddy said, separate entrance Tests will be conducted for students of Telangana. With this, the common entrance examination row took a U-turn and it is inevitable for the court to step in to bring an amicable solution.

AP council chairman said Venugopal Reddy said, according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill,  the Higher Education Council has all the powers to hold the common entrance Tests. For this, we have consulted advocate general suggestions and after due recommendations, the dates of EAMCET and other professional courses entrance Tests were finalised. On May 10th EAMCET will be conducted and I-CET will be held on May 16th.

Telangana state council chairman Papi Reddy accused the AP council of being biased and added that the AP council did not consult them before finalising or announcing the exam dates. We will announce the dates of entrance Test by January 5th. He said, students not to panic in this issue and tried to assure a solution in this matter as early as possible. However Papi Reddy said, the dates which AP Council has announced will not collide with Telangana state entrance Test dates.
