Date locked for AP capital!

The ruling Telugu Desam government is considering to laid foundation for the new Andhra Pradesh capital before the formation day i.e, June 2nd. According to the TDP insiders, the government might begin the capital work from Ugadi festival next year or on May 28th which happens to the birthday of TDP founder NT Rama Rao. AP government wants to finish off acquisition of land by March and start the work as early as possible.

Just like Brundhavan gardens in Mysore, AP capital will have a 20 kilometre stretch lush green park across the Krishna river. The secretariat will be a 44 storey building and Assembly's design will be on the lines of Taj Mahal. The construction of Assembly will be made completely with granite stone and will have the modern facilities. AP chief minister's official residence is also planned in Vijayawada city and might near to the Assembly. Chandrababu Naidu who is in Japan tour, would be seeking the help of the country in providing better transport system. Metro train and other projects will be planned accordingly to ensure, the transport has smooth processing.

While in Guntur which occupies small portion of capital, all the government offices will be placed. The search for suitable land is underway.
