Supreme Court rejects time for EAMCET

The Supreme Court of India has refused to give more time in the EAMCET counselling issue and said to complete the process by August 31st without failure. Telangana government has asked the Supreme Court, time till October 31st as there are minor issues related to fees reimbursement scheme and soon. The Apex court clarified that EAMCET counselling should held as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013.

This is a major blow for the TRS government which has been constantly delaying the EAMCET process and it is huge sign of relief to the students in both the states. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education [APSCHE] is likely to announce the schedule for counselling with the Supreme Court's decision. So far APSCHE has completed the process of verifying the certificates and counselling dates are likely to come out in a day or two.

Finally the EAMCET row has come to an end and we can say one issue got settled between Andhra and Telangana. But never knew, whether the Telangana government will re-appeal this decision or not.
