BJP TDP alliance confirmed!

Yes, finally a break through in the alliance between the old friends, Bharatiya Janata Party and Telugu Desam Party will be teaming up together for the upcoming elections. Senior BJP leader Prakash Javadekar who meet TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu over the alliance discussion have ended on a positive note.

BJP which has been demanding more seats in Telangana was firm on its stand and with no other option Mr Naidu has to bow down as TDP is quite bit weak here. Now as part of deal, BJP will contest in 45 Assembly segments and eight Lok Sabha segments in Telangana where as in Seemandhra it will contest only in 15 Assembly segments and five Lok Sabha seats.

However, Telangana BJP leaders are unhappy over the tie up. Heads of ten districts held a meeting today and have decided to refuse the alliance with TDP and it is also heard that already chiefs of seven districts have resigned to their posts. State BJP president Kishan Reddy responded to the resignation news and said, “I will talk to everyone regarding the alliance. Many leaders in Telangana opine to go alone in the elections, we will discuss with our party high command.”
