Ex-minister Shankar Rao who is firm in establishing a statue for Sonia Gandhi for granting separate Telangana has revealed the sketch of the original statue yesterday in Vijayawada. Professor Prasad is designing the statue and had prepared psuedo statue for Shankar Rao to have a look. The statue marginally resembles Telangana Thalli statue and Shankar will establish a bronze statue in his farm house in Mahboobnagar.
Speaking on it Shankar Rao said, “the statue is 7 foot tall and will be ready in next 45 days. By then separate state will be a reality. I wholeheartedly thank Sonia Gandhi for her brave step in granting the Telangana recognizing the people's sentiment.”
