Fall of Another Comedy Star In One Month

Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam who gave good and healthy comedy to the Telugu audience for three decades in about 800 films passed away on Saturday making it a double loss to the cine lovers in one month.  He has been suffering from cancer and liver related health complications for some time.

His body was kept at Dilsukhnagar Saradanagar till evening for the last darshan of his friends, relatives and fans.  Political and many cine personalities visited to pay last respects to him.  His body was shifted to his native place later in the evening.

Dharmavarapu Subramanyam was born on September 20, 1960 in Komminenivaripalem in Prakasham District.  He was an actor and director of the films and TV episodes and he also worked as Chairman AP Cultural Association.  But he is remembered as a comedian as his acting style was superb and natural with flawless dialogue delivery and modulation.  His TV serial Anando Brahma was very successful and got him recognition.

Cine Industry lost another Subrahmanyam and comedian just after a month of the loss of AVS (Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam) who passed away on November 8.
