The Union Minister for Tourism Chiranjeevi sent a letter to AICC President Sonia Gandhi in which he requested her to ask the Prime Minister to accept his resignation already sent by him in the month of October.

Chiranjeevi wrote in his letter to Sonia Gandhi that he was pained for the way the process of bifurcation has taken place.  He said that his feelings are also hurt as Seemandhra People’s aspirations were not considered in the Cabinet meeting.  He also said that in these circumstances it is hard to do discharge his duties.

Chiranjeevi wrote in the letter that his heart is heavy and his conscience is burdened and it is extremely difficult for him to continue as a Minister.
