Arrangements are made to evacuate 64000 people to safe zone in the wake of phailin cyclone.
The Revenue Minister Raghuveera Reddy stated that all the arrangements are made to shelter 64000 people in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts who are likely to hit by the cyclone.
He said that all fishermen belong to these districts that have gone to sea for fishing came back. About 30 fishing boats are at the sea in Vizag who are expected to come back by afternoon.
The Collectors of three districts announced that officers are appointed for each and every Mandal to work for the people hit by cyclone and those officers are alert to respond to the situation. They also requested the people of the area not to get panicky but follow the instructions of the officers who are delegated with the task of helping them in the cyclone.
