YS Jagan, Vijayamma Resign

YSR Congress Party President President YS Jagan and his mother and Honorary President YS Vijayamma resigned from their Memberships for the Parliament and Assembly respectively.

Jagan sent his resignation letter through fax to the Parliament Speaker and Vijayamma sent her resignation letter to the Speaker of the Assembly through fax.

Gist of the letter is that the Congress party is complicating the issues in the State and taking unilateral decisions with the pretexts of meetings in Core Committee and Working Committee unmindful of the interests of Seemandhra people. Instead of creating a committee by the Government of India to deal with the situation, the Congress party created its own party’s committee again just to pull wool over the eyes of the people. On the other hand the main opposition in the State TDP is playing its own drama by announcing that a Capital can be built at a cost of four lakhs crores of Rupees. If they don’t change their attitude at least now, their actions will put the Seemandhra people of the State to a great loss. The resignations were submitted to mark the their protest against these two parties’ attitude and to support the part of the State interests of which is totally ignored.

YS Jagan and Vijayamma mentioned in their letters that if the Congress Party is heeding to the sentiments of the Telangana people, Rayalaseema people also are not devoid of sentiments of their own.
