Digvijay Singh who is appointed as an in charge for the political affairs of Andhra Pradesh in place of Gulam Nabi Azad told today at Delhi by the AICC said that he will make a tour in AP before the end of this month.

Digvijay Singh's coming back to the State affairs is lauded by Congress leaders in the State.  They said that Digvijay Singh with previous experience and attachment he has with the State that will certainly do some good to the State's affairs.  They also said that Gulam Nabi Azad was relieved from the AP Affairs following one man one post formula the party resolved to follow.  

Digvijay Singh has come back to the State after seven years which was welcomed by the AICC State President Botsa Satyanarayana.  He said that having experience as a Chief Minister, Digvijay Singh’s directions will improve the State's affairs.  

At the reconstitution of the AICC, Digvijay Singh was made in charge of the State affairs of the party and Eluru MP was made permanent invitee of the Congress Working Committee.  Rajyasabha Member V.Hanumantha Rao retains his position as the Secretary of AICC.
