No Home minister for AP

One week ago, the resignation letters submitted by two ministers, accused in the disproportionate assets case along with YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy, were accepted by the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and forwarded to the governor. After a wait that seemed never ending, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, E S L Narasimhan has finally accepted their resignation

Both the resignations of Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy and Roads & Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao were accepted. This leaves the state with no home minister, a crucial post in the cabinet of the Chief Minister.

Approving the resignations, Raj Bhavan made an press announcement, "On the advice of the Chief Minister, the Governor has accepted the resignations tendered by Dharmana Prasada Rao, Minister for Roads and Buildings and Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister for Home, with immediate effect".

However, temporarily, the positions would be managed by the Chief Minister himself.
