Not appropriate to support surcharges hike: Chiranjeevi

Central minister Chiranjeevi is apparently doing all efforts to do justice to Congress party without compromising on public welfare. That could be the reason that he has taken a big step and wrote to AICC in charge of AP affairs to ensure that increased electricity surcharges be rolled back. While he's still sticking to his point, some leaders such as PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and Renuka Chowdhary have supported the decision made by chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Upset over the support to the move that's apparently against the welfare of the public, Chiranjeevi has vented out his anger. He has found fault with Botsa and Renuka and said that it was not appropriate to support the hike in electricity surcharges. Nonetheless, he even mentioned that the opposition parties were making fuss over the same.

The observers said that opposition should be within the ruling party when the party makes a decision that's against public welfare. That's how a party will have a smooth future and will gain public confidence. In that way, Chiranjeevi has done justice to his job!
