Swamy Nithyananda emerges in Maha Kumbh Mela

Self proclaimed Godman, Swamy Nithyanada emerged at the Maha Kumbh Mela on Sunday at Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh. The Godman who was immersed in several controversies and unavailable for comments since sometime, after the Madurai Adheenam mutt affair. Here he was nominated as the head of the mutt, by the  present head, this was opposed by the other members of the mutt.

In spite of his prolonged court cases, Nithyananda harbored a smiling face and a peaceful look while participating in this ritual. He was accompanied by numerous foreign women who danced with ecstasy as they walked down to the river for the holy dip. His devotees were tracking his every movement with video cameras and uploading the same across the social networks.

Sunday is an auspicious day at the Kumbh being the Mauni Amavasya. As per the myth Lord Vishnu created this universe on this day and a dip in the holy Triveni Sangamam yields better life after death and relieves one of multiple births. As per estimates nearly 3 crore people took birth in this auspicious occasion that commenced from 2pm yesterday and ended at 2 pm today. (Wishesh AarKay)
